Enabling Quality, Measurable Synthetic DNA Sequence Screening

This in-person workshop will aim to build consensus around important challenges in nucleic acid synthesis screening. Topics will include a framework for identifying sequences of concern, conformity assessment and benchmarking test sets for gaining insight into screening performance, and challenges of customer screening. It is the culmination of the six virtual workshops held between April and August 2024 on synthetic nucleic acid sequence and customer screening.

The meeting will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Bethesda, MD, just off the Bethesda downtown Metro Station. We are not reserving a hotel block, but many hotels are within minutes of the venue, including the Hilton Garden Inn, AC Hotel, Hyatt Regency, and Residence Inn. A light breakfast, snacks, and lunch will be provided. We have limited funds to support travel. Please reach out to [email protected] if your attendance is contingent upon support.
